Why you'll love it
A journey shaped by the mountains, not by a schedule.
The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the world’s most iconic high-altitude adventures, leading through Nepal’s spectacular Khumbu region to the foot of Mount Everest.
The journey begins in Lukla and follows the Dudh Koshi River through pine forests, suspension bridges and traditional Sherpa settlements. After a steady climb, the trail reaches Namche Bazaar, the cultural and commercial centre of the Everest region.
Two carefully planned acclimatization days help your body adjust before the route continues through Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorak Shep. Along the way, you will encounter Buddhist monasteries, mani walls, prayer flags and extraordinary views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku and other Himalayan peaks.
The defining moment is reaching Everest Base Camp at approximately 5,364 metres beside the Khumbu Glacier. The following morning, the trek climbs Kala Patthar at approximately 5,545 metres for one of the finest panoramic views of Mount Everest.
Although no technical climbing experience is required, this is a challenging trek. The altitude, cold temperatures and consecutive walking days demand physical preparation, patience and responsible acclimatization.
Himalera’s itinerary balances adventure with safety through gradual elevation gain, dedicated acclimatization days and support from an experienced local trekking team.
Walk beneath the world’s highest mountain and find your era in the Himalayas.
